SILENT HILL CHARACTERS AS SPIDERS (Because, why not ?)

J A M E S :

[Wolf spider] They stalk and hunt their prey like wolves do, they're fast-moving ground hunters, and have a really good vision. Also, brown is the color of the earth, it is often used to symbolize nature, autumn, melancholy, or death.

M A R Y :

[Crab spider] She reminds me of this particular crab spider a lot, because it looks like an orchid and we tend to assimilate Mary with the color pink, and flowers.

M A R I A :

[black widow spider] If I just mentioned that Mary reminds us of the color pink, then Maria evokes red : symbolizing love, lust, and passion, but also danger. The black widow is one of my personal favorite spiders. They possess a striking beauty, calmness and elegance, but the vivid red mark on their abdomen is a clear warning: they are predators.

L A U R A :

[Jumping spider] I felt like this was the easy choice LMAO but but but;;; it makes sense. Small, cute, jumpy, curious. ( ´∀`)

E D D I E :

[Spiny orb weaver spider] the colors just make sense to me. Black : power, and strength. Yellow : caution. BUT, It's a vibrant color that irritates some people, makes them feel nervous and agitated. Along with the spikes and the general shape of the spider, It reminds me of him.

A N G E L A :

[Brazilian Jewel Tarantula] Tarantulas are among the most feared spiders, mainly because of their size, but in reality, they’re gentle and rarely bite unless threatened. (I held one once—they're incredibly soft.) As long as you’re careful, there’s nothing to fear. The colors on this one remind me of her, too. The deep blue : melancholy, sadness. The red on its abdomen reminds me of the burning stairs scene : anger, resentment. And pink : innocence. In Silent Hill,we first see her in a regressed state, reverting to the scared girl she once was when everything first happened to her.
